Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the warranty period for this electric veterinary surgery set?
The warranty is 2 years for the entire machine and the motor. The battery and other fast-consumption items are covered by a 3-month warranty.
What is the maximum sterilization temperature recommended for these tools?
The standard sterilizing temperature must not exceed 135 °C (improved models can withstand up to 155 °C). If the temperature exceeds 135 °C, the motor may suffer permanent damage.
Can the rechargeable battery be sterilized?
No, the battery cannot be sterilized and is not autoclavable. Please ensure the battery is removed before autoclaving the handpieces.
How should the battery be maintained after surgery to maximize its lifespan?
Always remove the battery from the power tool immediately after surgery. Keeping it inside will cause a small automatic discharge, which significantly shortens the overall battery life. Additionally, make sure the battery chamber in the handpiece remains dry.
What are the drill specifications and RPM limits?
The normal bone drill can hold drill bits up to 6mm. The acetabulum reaming drill runs at around 300 RPM with high torque, and the canulate drill operates at around 600 RPM for use with K-wires or nails.
What is the correct way to clean the cranial bur?
The cranial bur must be cleaned immediately after the operation using a purger. This prevents blood from drying and sticking inside the bur. Ensure it is dried thoroughly after washing.
